Every default sheet is exact division: we pick the divisor and the quotient first, then make the dividend. Children never meet a leftover or a decimal unless you switch on remainder mode.
Problems use the same stacked layout as column addition and multiplication — dividend on top, ÷ and the divisor below, then boxes for the quotient.
Divide downwards. Write the quotient in the boxes.
A child-safe division drill that follows on from skip counting and the Multiplication Drill. Stacked ÷ is used on purpose so the four arithmetic generators look like one family. The long-division “house” (with bring-down rows) is a different skill and is not faked here.
