Free printable skip counting worksheets for kids

Each row is a number path. Some stepping stones already show a number; the empty ones are for the child to write.

Choose what to count by — 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s or 10s — then Easy (most numbers given), Medium, or Hard (more blanks and higher numbers).

About

A skip-counting generator that builds a fresh set of number paths from a step, a starting multiple, and a difficulty contract. Every sheet stays on the multiplication table for the chosen step, so the answers are always exact.

Ages 5–7 · Kindergarten, Grade 1

Skills practiced

  • Skip counting
  • Number sequences
  • Number writing
  • Early multiplication

How to Use

  1. Choose Count by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10.
  2. Choose Easy (two blanks per path), Medium, or Hard (five blanks and higher numbers).
  3. Click New Paths for a fresh set of starting numbers.
  4. Optional: type the child’s name and the date in the sheet header.
  5. Click Print Worksheet. Ask your child to write the missing numbers, counting on by the step shown at the top.

Print tip: Numbers print in dark ink and empty stones keep a writing line, so the sheet works on a black-and-white printer. Hard mode uses six longer paths up to 120 — check print preview if your child still writes large numerals.
