Free printable find and color number or letter hunt worksheet

This sheet fills with circular bubbles in a fixed grid. Choose how many rows you want — each row has twelve bubbles — then pick a target digit or letter for children to find and colour.

There is no tracing: the focus is spotting and visual discrimination. Target bubbles appear at roughly the same frequency no matter how many rows you choose.

About

A find-and-colour hunt that works with numbers or letters. Unlike Number Hunt (find & trace), this sheet uses plain digits or letters in circles and asks children to colour every match — useful for visual scanning and discrimination practice.

How to Use

  1. Choose Numbers (1–9) or Alphabets (A–Z).
  2. Set Rows to control how many bubbles fill the page.
  3. Pick the target to find and colour.
  4. Uncheck any distractors you do not want mixed in.
  5. Click Generate New Layout for a fresh scramble.
  6. Optional: type the child's name and the date in the sheet header.
  7. Click Print Worksheet, then have your child colour every matching bubble.

Print tip: One A4 page holds the full grid. Circles print as outlines so children have a clear colouring target.
